~ Halloween (I think it’s on the 31st this year)

So many things!

New Releases!

Dead Pigs – Folks from different backgrounds run into each other (probably not literally) as thousands of dead pigs float down a river heading towards Shanghai for some reason. Stars the wonderfully named, Zazie Beetz.

The Forever Purge – One night a year not enough Purging for ya? Now you can Purge every day! About time.

Mare of Easttown – Excellent series fonds Kate Winslett as a detective in a small town. Won all the awards.

Masquerade – Home invasion horror number.

Never Gonna Snow Again – Polish comedy/drama finds a Russian-speaking immigrant working as a masseur in Poland where he becomes a guru-like figure in a wealthy gated community. Hijinks of a comical nature, I presume, ensue.

The Nevers Season 1 – Cool-looking HBO sci-fi series follows a gang of Victorian women who have some special abilities! Don’t know what they are but I do know a way to find out!

Resident Alien Season 1 – The wonderful Alan Tudyk is an alien who crash-lands in (Vancouver) a small town and takes on the identity of a doctor in this highly rated comedy series.

Rififi in Paris – Did not know that there was a sequel to the amazing Rififi! Now I do.

Space Jam: New Legacy – Lebron James steps into Michael Jordan’s air shoes for another run at this thing.

The Black Dog Video Newsletter: King for a Day Edition!

Since it’s Stephen King’s birthday, your favourite podcast peeps put together a best/worst Stephen King movie adaptations episode! Listen in here (or wherever you get your podcasts) and let the arguments begin!

We’re oh-so-close to having the new website up and running! Just waiting on a few items to be delivered and it should (hopefully) be good to go by the weekend! Keep those eyes peeled (not literally)!

New Releases!

Boss Baby: Family Business – Not too sure what a Boss Baby is, and frankly I don’t want to know, but they’ve made two of these things so far!

Cruella – Follow the adventures of a young Cruella de Vil as she romps through the streets of London before becoming, er, whatever she was to become. Dog catcher? Furrier?

F9: The Fast Saga – The 9th (!) movie in the Fast and the Furious franchise goes where no car has gone before – space! As ludicrous as these dumb-ass movies are, I do have a soft spot for them for some reason.

The Furnace – Aussie adventure type film (got rave reviews!) finds a young Afghan cameleer who falls in with a mysterious bushman on the run with stolen Crown gold.

Justice League (Zack Synder cut) – The crappy Justice League movie wasn’t enough for ya? Well, here’s Zack Snyder’s 4 hour cut! All the dour, mopey superheroes you can handle!

Till Death – Meghan Fox gets herself handcuffed to her dead husband for some reason. More horror/thriller than Weekend at Bernie’s I suspect.

Unforgotten Season 4 – Cold case crime capers!
