The Black Dog Newsletter “I’m Melting Edition!”
Wow. Seems spring has sprung with the intention of melting our faces off! It’s too warm too soon, in my opinion, (end of days I tells ya!) but it is good for sitting on the patio!
There won’t be a newsletter next week as I’m taking a bit of a much-needed vacation. Yap at ya in two weeks.
Aquaman – Jason Momoa play a fish-man named Art who can talk to the fishes and make them do his bidding. Has practical applications I suppose. (Should be on the shelves this Friday)
If Beale St Could Talk – Heavy drama from the fella that made Moonlight about a family struggling to survive after the husband is set up by a racist cop. Lousy coppers.
King of Thieves – Michael Caine and Michael Gambon star, with others, in this true tale of some old coots who pull off one last heist. (Should be on the shelves this Friday)
Mary Poppins Returns – How can you miss me if I won’t go away? Emily Blunt is the new singing magic nanny.
MFKZ – Cool-looking French animated number about a guy living in Dark Meat City (Yum!) who starts to see monsters prowling around the neighborhood. (Should be on the shelves this Friday)
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse – Everyone loves this wonderful new Spider-man animated movie. And you will too! (Winner best animated film)
Stan and Ollie – Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly play Laurel and Hardy as they try to recapture their mad magic on a farewell tour of post-war Britain. I was a huge fan as a kid so I hope that this is good! (Should be on the shelves this Friday)
The Quake – Oslo, Norway gets punished by a big earthquake. First it was The Wave and now The Quake, what’s next, The Bees? The Trees? The Sneeze?
The House that Jack Built
My Brilliant Friend
My Scientology Movie
